Im looking to rig up a handbrake on my dirt fiddie for my homie to learn to stunt, i know ryan has the cable for $30 + shipping which is a bit steep to me, what length cable would i need with tall bars?

I'm not sure, I've been looking at doing the same thing. Kit's online I've seen seem to be really overpriced, I used to ride a lot of BMX so I was planning on using a BMX brake cable because they can be shortened if necessary.

I also was planning to use an odyssey linear bmx cable. I always mod bmx levers to fit too and have used bmx cables/levers for the clutch for years.

Since this is only a secondary brake option and you can only pull so hard with a matched lever i doubt it'd ever snap. if so trim it or buy new for $10.
