The TB head will make more because it has bigger valves and ports. I know the TB head setup will put down about 8-8.5hp.

Well, being that its the 81 there isnt much you can do, as the aftermarket heads are made for 52mm pistons and if you go with a diff head you have to have a new piston to fit the head. What you could do is have you stock head ported and that will help out alot.
