I am about to get the tb 88 kit,. I know noting about sprockets. Can anyone enlite me on which sprocket does what? And what the diffrence in the sizes are, Like if you put big on the rear and small on the front or vise versa or both big or both small. I just don't know how to benifit from the different sizes.

I ride mostly on some small traks (home built). And some in the mountins (like on weekends). Thanks for all your guys help.

the smaller you go in the front, the lower geared it will be(wind out faster, less top speed), the opposite for the rear(go bigger for lower gears)....one tooth on the front equals 4-5 teeth on the rear...hope this helps

Yes, 1 tooth bigger in the front=2.5 smaller in the rear and vise versa. The best gearing to run with the TB 88 kit though is a 15 on the front and stock 37 on the rear. It has mad pull and plenty of gear for most tracks you may ride, all around good gearing.

I agree 100%, that is the same sprocket combination I run on mine, great for all round riding.
