I've ridden Kyle Engles 88 s-stage, but he ported the head and manifold and its very fast for a 88.
I think porting is a DEFIENATE yes, and it will without a doubt help. The 95super head he rides pulled pretty hard once it hit, but we were about equivelent most trough the track at perris.
