For the vintage restorers

A friend and I went to a motorcycle salvage yard today in search of a YZ85 rear wheel for his TTR rear end conversion.

We didn't know until we got there the place is a "vintage" salvage yard.

I'm sure there is a few treasures there if I knew what to look for.

The bike on the left with the chrome fuel tank and white wall tire is a Suzuki T series. Probably about a 1965.
The wall of engine covers is kinda cool. Looks like art to a twisted mind like mine. :D

It's actually a 45 ft. trailer, there must be at least 200 engines underneath it.

I don't want to freak you out, but I think I see part of a human hand in one of the pics... (GET OUT OGF THERE NOW) lol.... Very cool, it does look like the set of a horror movie, even better a "B" horror movie!

Look again, The exhaust comes out of the cylinder jug.. so the engine is a two stroke. I dont believe Honda made a two stroke back in the sixtys.

The high mounted exhaust makes this Suzuki a TC series. One could argue that its actually a K series, however the rubber boots on the forks indicate the bike was built in 66 - 68.

Useless knowledge.
where is that place i want that xr80! That is a dirt bike riders heaven
The little 2 stroke on the ground is a Yamaha GT80. Poor little bike!
