I started with a JDM 4 speed Honda Monkey Motor that came with my bike. Plus, in Japan, average retail is 20% below Kitaco list price, not 20-30% higher like it is over here.



Full Kitaco 108cc Ultrahead Kit, and stuck with a 2 plate manual Clutch which is perfect for road applications and VM26 Carb, Oil Cooler, and Oil Catch tank, and sold off my stock parts.



Starting with an XR50 motor is a tad more expensive.


I was just wondering on the 70mph, it would be impossible with the stock tranny on a xr50. I am saving my pennys for the 5 speed tranny, $660 List.

If you use the 5 speed tranny in the dirt, the gears will break, as they are super thin and week compared to a 4 speed setup.



Stick with a 5 speed on the street, 4 speeds will hold up in the dirt just fine.

Flywheels & More

It's great to hear that those who contactact us for our services are

satisfied. Input is always appreciated!!



We've found a great combo in using our turned flywheels with our crank service, and primary gear lightening service. We've also done quite a bit of R&D with ceramic bearings from top to bottom. If anyone is interested in additional info, call or mail us.
