Is there a gasket between outside flywheel cover (Crankcase cover on microfiche) and center crankcase? I searched the parts sites and microfiche and did not see one. The cover that says "Honda" on it in big letters. I know there is one on the other side of center crankcase.

Thanks, Dave

No, does not need gasket. The area behind should be dry.

Boyesen makes a gasket, but from the factory it does not come with one. I have one on one bike, but I can't say it helps at all. My theory was to keep dirt and water out when washing and riding on wet days.
