Will a HV oil pump on a stock 50 make it any different than with the regular oil pump, IE less power? Also, how do I get the studs out of the stock head that the exhaust bolts to out, I have tried everything and can't get them out?

An HV oil pump won't hurt a stock 50. Run it.



the exhaust studs are buggers. Use two nuts on each stud and tighten one on the other and use a wrench to take the stud out.

Own a blow torch, or a heat gun? Be very careful, but if you gently heat up the area with a heat gun or torch, the removal will go much easier.

ya, i know that trick, but all our small torches suck and wont ever light or stay lit. thanks for the tips tho Z88R

I prefer the heat gun myself. Can get things cherry hot, and reduce the risk of catching things on fire!
