has anyone put a fat rear wheel on their xr and kept the front one stock? like a z50 wheel or one of those one skindonor has on that bike he posted? if you have how do you find it?

If your bike makes a lot of power, you can put on a cheng shin dual sport 3.5 inch moped tire. I think the model number is the C161. Its like a z50 tire for a 10 inch rim.

Yeah, but I'm not shure about a stock rear swingarm if you have one.

yes it does fit on the stock swing arm but not the front it rubs you need to go to a 3.00 tire that is what i run

If you look at my photo's in the gallery take a look at my bike. I have a picture with 3.50 cheng shin tires on front and back. And I got a friend that runs them on his stock bike with only one problem. With the taller tire it takes him longer to get up to speed with stock gearing. So if you have a stock motor I would go with the 3.00 tire.

Hey the fat 8 inch rear tire rocks on the rear it does fit a stock XR swing arm the only differance is the brake stop mount is slightly longer for the Z50 rim you will have to weld a longer one on your swingarm to make it work .



There are some more agressive tires out there for the Z50 .I will check to see who has one and get back to you.



By the way with Z50 tires you don't actualy run a taller tire it is almost identical to a 10 inch stocker so the gearing problem does not exsist

has anyone actually used one of these wider tyres on the back in the dirt with the stocker on the front? i realise it might be a slightly slower setup but there are no races here so im not that worried. all i want to do is roost my mates.
