restored the old mini bike for the great grand kids and installed a new hf 79cc engine. did a few mods (advance timing, header, free flowing exhaust, jetted up a bit). plug shows black. engine runs pretty good but won't for long with these black plugs. these are non adjustable carbs other than drilling out the jet which is a bit large now. not going to put a lot of money into this carb (got a couple of pz19's ready) but would like to work with this one till it's broken in. my question is about what looks like an air bleed right beside the idle adjustment screw. if it's an air bleed i might just open it up a little to see if that helps to lean it out a little. have used the wire in the main jet hole in my race cars but the hole (.031) is super small in the first place. might have a hard time finding wire that small. anybody know if the thats an air bleed or just a vent thats beside the idle adjustment screw? thanks Denny
