Ez90'Cub issue

Hi Guys, I have a 1995 ez90 cub that only goes half throttle now. It ran fine until it went down a very steep hill and it was hitting the rev limiter. It now runs only half throttle. I would appreciate if anyone has a suggestion what might be wrong with it.
