the clicking comes from when pushing down and right when it starts to return up?



I have had elkas that do it and have had other that dont... they didnt feel any different when riding!

Take the shock off the bike. Remove the spring and reinstall the shock body in the chassis.

If the noise goes away, then it was just your spring collar rubbing up against the shock body and will wear in.

If the noise is still there, send it back to Elka. The nut that holds the valving together is not tight or they forgot the clamping shim.

They told me the same thing about my shock a couple years back and haven't had a problem with either of them yet ..
