I bought a chinese 107cc from an outfit called colorado kite and ski about a year back and have been running it in my old 1970 ct70. The motor runs strong as an ox and the only complaints are the transmission isn't the smoothest.

I'm thinking about putting the 107 in my 1973' z50. I've found some various wiring diagrams on how to hook it up. I figure I would just have to build my own wiring harness. I don't need lights or anything of the sorts.

Everybody told me that I had to run a battery for the engine to work in my ct70 so I bought one and hooked it up. One day while filling the gas I realized that the battery was disconnected, so... The engine doesn't require a battery to work.

So to my questions... Anybody else dealt with the engines from this outfit? Are any of the wiring diagram correct for what I'm working with.

Id really hate to pull the ct70 apart only to figure out that I can't make the 107cc work in my z50.

there's no reason it shouldn't work go to DrATV OPERATES HERE and look in their electrical updates area and under teh lifan motor page and they ahve all kinds of wiring diagrams for fitting china motors into jap bikes or whatever you want to put it in basicly.. i went to their page and saved every diagram they have just in case i need them one day

i'm about to put a china 125cc in my 72 Z50 and see how that goes... i was just going to build the honda motor, but to even rebuild it with an 88 kit, new bolts, seals and other things like oil drive gears and gaskets i need the china motor come out cheaper.., i WAS going to make it a 90cc stroker at first but the price was at over 500 bucks and i wasn't even done shopping yet 8)

I can't seem to find the diagrams on the dratv site???

I'm going to just swap everthing (coil, cdi, etc) over to the bike and not run any lights.

The seat on my z50 was trashed so I build a custom one that you can sit further back on. With that and the 107cc I should end up with a super wheelie machine.
