Has anyone done this? Im thinking it would give me more snap. I need some tips. Thanks

Rest of the combo?

firepower354 said:Porting the head and manifold(pref the Tak long & low job), and stiffer valve springs will give a good all-around torque curve. Make sure you've got a tight piston to head clearance, .030" or so. A cam is OK, if you have a closer ratio trans, but the stock 5.25/5.5mm one is pretty nice overall. Add a YX 160-type outer rotor kit for better throttle response. Retard mod on the flywheel, since too much timing makes them snappy off idle, lay down up top. Racers run up top![]()
