Does anyone know the correct drill sizes for the different sizes of jets ? I am thinking of drilling out my main in steps instead of buying all new jets .

I am running a stock engine with a uni pod and baffle knocked out of pipe.

What size jet works good or what size drill ?

Thanks,

Raz

drill sizes

If you can get a hold of a drill size book from a library or bookstore it will explian it there. You also might want to try to get a machinists reference book (Browne and Sharpe guide to machining) and it has that info too. How it works is this: say you have a 35 pilot and want to know the inch size. The book has numeric sizes converted to inch sizes. I think a 35 is a .032 or so. I hope this helps. Also you can get a set of welding tip cleaners as these are small and you can figure out which size fits the jet and go up to the next size to drill it out. Anyways hope this helped you out some.
