Guys struggling to get bits here in the uk unless they are bbr or fast50's thats about as good as you get.........

Last night i made my own oil breather for the top valve cover but im unsure what i have done is enough??? Basically i have drilled a 12mm hole straight through the stock cap and glued a tube about 1" long and obviously 12mm thick into the hole with epoxy resin (should hold up) i am now conecting a long rubber pipe and going to route it along the frame down the back and out by the swingarm. is that it??? are they anymore complicated than that??? i.e do they have vent valves or any other weird shit going on or just a tube attached to a hole and vented?

If you run these a) what difference do they make running wise?

b) do you need to run an oil pump? (im running an 85cc kit no pump)

My last lot of 50 bits that i ordered from the states got burnt in cargo and no replys yet to getting money back. there fore i think my next project is to cut and extend the rear swingarm by 2" at the drop out position and beef both the frame and swingarm with some gussets welded in until i receive my replacment bits, any tips hints or ideas?

the breather made my stock engine feel less restricted, but the thing is its not something that needed at all. *edit, with you 85 its nice, but not urgent.

i put a little hose filter on the end of mine, just to keep out the dust. thats it

your dropout extension thing sound good but its going to be harder than just a couple of welds. dont forget that you need to have the tab the rear brake hooks onto also moved 2"

yeah i was looking into doing the frame over the weekend and then started to realise its slightly more difficult than hacking it up and re-welding... sourcing some bits and pieces this week and hopefully have sommin up and running.
