thats what i have, the ct 70 cylinder and head and header, i had to grind out my stock intake manifold for my 50 kinda tapered to match up to the 70 head, and u need to use a piston from 90's xr 70 i also have manual clutch off the ct 70, you just need to cut your shift shaft down to match up

my motor is actually a ct 70 topend and clutch 1980 cases with the timing chain adjuster instead of the one run by oil pressure...which is 91 and up i think .... 90's crank and electronics...i totally blew my original motor, shift detent broke clogged the oil pump with metal blew the top end and pieces went into the tranny and destroyed it and broke the cases...

CT90 parts are a different animal and have a different motor configuration than your 50. On the CT90, the points are in the head, so in simple terms, no it won't fit.

Sell the motor on ebay if it runs, and purchase 50 parts with the proceeds.
