So just wanna know if there is something special that makes this motor better than an 88 kit. Maybe thinking about getting it but need to keep up with my buds.

If it's a 4-speed CT70H engine, it might be worthwhile to pick up. Put a 51mm stroker crank in it and you get 88cc of low-end torque and a 4th gear to romp all over your buddies. Plus, it'll look stock, too.
