Does anyone know of a mx style swing arm that would fit a stock xr70? Im looking to upgrade the forks to xr80 and want to also get a longer swingarm. I know how to weld and fabricate stuff aswell. I saw that a kx60 swinger would fit but i think its too long.

If you're doing XR80 forks it's going to raise the front end significantly. Therefore, the KX60 length would be ideal, and it does fit with some fab work. Any chinese crf50 frame based swingarm will work too. You will have to fab up a shock mount relocator unless you stick with a CRF50 +4 A-Style swinger making it a +2 on a 70.

One reason it appears so long is the front end being choppered out. The stock frame rake is too far out. Take around 3 degrees out of your frame and it won't handle like a wet noodle any longer. You can also use a KLX110 swingarm but you will need to add a couple washers at the swingarm pivot, and drill out your stock pivot hole. If you don't want it so long, use a swingarm from like a pitster pro, or equivalent.

I ordered a kx60 swinger and a 10.8” shock. Im going to see if i can bring the shock a little lower so its taller instead of longer.

Heres my bike Im working with. Cosmetically its stock (Other than having 2 rear tires). has anyone attempted to put ct70 wheels and tires on theirs?
