Have any of you guys thrown a skid plate on ur 70?
I assume this would be much easier with an aftermarket pitbike style exhaust. But curious as to what needed to be done to make it fit.
I'm gonna try it regardless just figured if someone has done it, I could see what it looked like before I did it.

It should bolt right up if the skid plate is for an XR/CRF 50 or 70

I found this video. The skid plate looks to fit pretty close to the front fender.

Did you add one? Any pics or tips?

I did NOT put one on. I have a stock exhaust on mine and the 2 skid plates I have (bbr and sano) won't fit. With a crf50 style exhaust that comes up over the clutch cover (like in that video) will work though.
