My son has a 2007 CRF150R and I'm curious to know if you can upgrade the swingarm to the CRF150RB swingarm; or similar aftermarket swingarm.



He's had the bike for one season, but over the summer grew quite a bit, but not quite ready for a 250.



I'm thinking of changing the shock spring also to better support his weight, but was more interested in changing the swingarm.



Any thoughts would be a appreciated

Yes, the longer RB swingarm is a direct bolt on. You gonna add 19/16 inch wheels also?

Yes... I am planning on going with the larger wheels when I change out the swingarm.



My concerns was whether or not is that easy; remove short one bolt on longer one.



Can you give me an idea of the other items I would need to change? I"m guessing chain, brake cable... ???

Yeah, you will need a longer chain. Not sure about the brake line. I'd suggest taking a look at a Honda parts diagram and see if there are any different part numbers listed for any parts other than the swingarm. You can find one at only website that sells OEM Honda parts like Motosport Outlet.
