Recently got a 2007 crf100 mini supermoto in a trade, I didnt look it over well before taking it home and found that the left crankcase is busted. I have heard that these motors are similar or identeical to certain year xr and have the same bottom end as a crf80. Can anyone confirm this and point me in the direction of a good year bike so I can find a parts bike. Already lost alot by not seeing the crack and would rather jsut throw another motor in it than rebuild the entire thing.

Can’t help on the year situation for a case swap.
But I’ve had good success with taking cases to a reputable machine shop to be welded and machined if required.
