does anyone kno if you can raise the rear ride height of an xr/crf 100 by flipping the swingarm over .looks like you can and just bolt the shock to the swingarm mount with out the linkage.does any one know if i can raise the stock front fork ride height also?thanks

i wonder if flipping the swingarm and getting rid of the linkage, bolt right to swingarm would work for raising the rear end? any other thoughts on this or been tested?

The stock shock has very limited travel. The magic that provides the progressive rate of suspension and extended (vs. directly available) travel is the pro-link system.



You could try adapting a direct mount shock (KTM 65) or other, but the spring will still be weak for older riders.



See Jthomas7's post for the n'th degree on this subject. I agree with Terry, the TK setup is the best without significant surgery to the rear of the bike.
