tjmazz13 said:Ok, so I plan on getting around $700 for Christmas and maybe $700 if I sell my 50. I have a bone-stock 110, and was wondering what should be some of the first things I should get for it?
twosmoke30 said:#1 absolute crucial thing for a 110
get a cradle
that should be the first buy
tjmazz13 said:I will probably have to heli coil my mounts first, would I still be able to use the bolt that come with the cradle?
mxkid247 said:do you wanna do a stock mod or mod???
-cradle
-bars
-stiff springs
-brake pedal/shifter
-exhaust
-shock
-pegs/mount
list goes on and on but make sure you get yourself a cradle and an HD pegmount with good pegs first
tjmazz13 said:I want to do stock mod. And I'm keeping the stock exhaust because my neighbors won't bitch as muchAnd I know some guys who get cradle's and HD pegmounts because they are like 280lbs, but im only 170.
twosmoke30 said:get a cradle, i've seen kids (80lb's) rip peg mounts out

What are you looking to do with it? 50ft jumps, or farting around in the yard?
Suspension or Power?
Disc brakes?
tjmazz13 said:Oh wow, and would I have to re jet if I got a Two Bros filter?
mxkid247 said:yeah either way ur still gonna want a cradle and pegs/mount first
so stock mod:
-Pod filter is a MUST as well..much better throttle responce and opens it up a bit
-bore kit
-stiff springs in the forks with heavier wt oil
-new shock
-bars
-clutch if wanted
-OTT brake pedal/new shifter
-heavy duty wheels or at least put a rim lock in ur stock rear wheel
-i like a 35-37T rear sprocket on stockers
twosmoke30 said:i doubt it if the bike is staying stock bore and stock pipe
but i did have to rejet after i drilled out the exhaust and cut the stock airbox up
after i did the above mods i swear the bike gained at least 1 Hp, at least that's what my pants told me, it was a completely different bike, i bought the two bros racing stock carb needle and jets to go with the pipe and airbox mod and it was really nice power gains, and not too loud either
tjmazz13 said:A new rear shock would take like most of my money, and what size sprocket is on mine now?
mxkid247 said:classified on here is ur best friend :fing02: you'll find something for a good price..that stock suspension is for a 40-70 lb kid not a 170 lb guy lol
stock sprocket is 33
tjmazz13 said:I will probably get a two bros filter but not drill out the exhaust.
twosmoke30 said:should be just fine then
this is what i'd do
get bars
stiff springs front and rear
cradle
decent tires
if the funds allow get hd rims and spokes
hd pegs and mounts
when i had my stocker 110 all i had was bars/stiff springs front and rear/and the above motor mods i listed
also as far as teh suspension goes,
i just got hd fork springs and used the STOCK oil, it was perfect for me and i weigh 180, and just a HD spring on the stock shock, it was really comfy
