What is the difference between them all and at what values are they programed?

What about programing on your own, can it be done (provided the correct hardware/software)?

can you get a variable timing cdi for the 50?
I have the inner rotor kit. So I'm not to concerned. But I'm curious to see what the other guys have to say
Kitaco makes a digital CDI that you can alter the curves, but it's a waste of cash.

I've ran the Kitaco, TB and Posh CDI's on my bikes, and can't tell a difference between the three, other than they are all better than stock. With that said, go with the cheapest unit between the three.

I understand what you are trying to do, but you are overcomplicating things here, as huge gains would not be realized from remapping the advance and spark curves. If you want to mess with the advance, get an inner rotor kit (Kitiaco) and call it a day.

I don't know of anyone who has recorded the values on the CDIs, but I wouldn't be suprised if they are merely a big capacitor to increase spark output rather than remap the timing curves.

What do you expect for $30-$50?

kitaco is best

Have you personally ran the CF Posh and TB CDI's to determine Kitaco is the best?

I have, and all three perform exactly the same on both an 88cc with a race head, and a 108 Kitaco Ultrahead motor. good improvement over stock.

Everyone else, go with the cheapest unit between the three unless you are blind with brand loyalty.
Words of ignorance followed by words of wisdom. ;)
LOL well said Mike. And Z88R is right on the money.
