Put a new carb on my crf 70 and it has a quite high idle. It is like someone is holding the throttle open. Adjusted pilot screw and nothing worked. I believe that the throttle cable has a kink and is not allowing the throttle sleeve to be as far into the carb as it should be. There is quite a bit of room. Could it also be that the air filter boot may have a leak? I’m uploading an image to get y’all’s opinion

Fix the boot on the carb cap and readjust the throttle cable, if necessary. The cable end isn't seated in the cap, and the slide isn't closing all the way down.
