hey, i was messing with my carb today,cleeaning it and stuff, and i took that lil black plastic spacer thing out and put the carb back on and it seems to have better throttle response. i wonder why they even bother with the plastic i guess its cheaper?

Its to keep the heat from the motor from reaching the carb, without it the gas in the carb will get to hot and its going to make your motor run like crap when it gets hot.

its a important heat shild, next time you ride touch the intake,then the carb. be careful of hot stuff!
