i recently took the lil black plastic piece that goes between the carb n intake mainfold to see if it makes power, but i lost the piece and now my fiddy wont start. is it because of the lil spacer or is it something else?

does the spacer mak a difference or no? becuz it ran perfect now it doesnt run. plz help

you have an air leak.....replace with new gasket and heat isolator

LOL!!! but seriously. Start with a "known". You know that you took out the manifold piece and now the bike won't start. Solution: put it back it. Buy a new one if you have to

Just buy a clymer or hanes service manual for a honda crf 50. Read that front to back and you will be building your own engines for you and your friends.

Doesn't the insulator have an O ring built into it? I thought it did and if you didn't run a gasket then you will have an intake leak.



The bike should still run ( very poorly ) even though you have an intake leak.
