im running a pipe and filter on my 110 jettted at 85-40 right now. if i take the choke out will it give me any more noticeable power? and if so will i be able to start it ok without a choke? thanks

I dont believe that the choke inhibits it of any power.. but if you were to take out the choke, you could cold start it by putting a rag over the air filter to choke it

It's a butterfly choke. It makes a slight difference. With the open element air filter and pipe I would remove it. As for the cold starting... don't worry its not a honda.

ok sounds good. i just heard from other people that if you take the choke out it will give you more airflow. maybe ill try it
