What are the differences between the gens and whats the newest gen ?

Gen 1 have black triple clamps and a smaller hub. Gen two have red triple clamps, and a bigger hub. gen 3's ghave different stickers, and I think the disk is smaller vs. gen 1..correct me if i am wrong

Im pretty sure gen 3 is the same as gen 1 but red clamps and diff disc.

no. possibly a minor one from the different disk....nothing worth upgrading or worrying about. Just get the wwave disk :twisted:

i just bought some generation 1's they look the same as gen 3s other then what u guys hav said, hope they work just as good i still need to get the bike togther.

Uhhh... I meant oil height or whatever. :? Some rich dude told me so I am just repeating what he said.

ya actually now that i think of it there isnt much they can change for performance, basically just spring rates, since there is so much adjustability in the rebound anyways....

there is no oil either...hahahahaha....just a spring and a little air "valve" screw thing

ya there actually pretty simple forks, its amazing how well they work

The Gen3's have a little allen bolt on top of each fork, you loosen that and oil them over the top.



The breaking system is a little different from gen 2 to 3, too.
