Does any one make/sell bigger valves for a stock xr50 head?

If I'm not mistaken, PRC can install bigger valves into your stock head, or at least the exhaust valve. You may want to contact them for information.

www.precision-racing-components.com
I was just talking to my dad and he said he knows where he can get some. He biulds motors for boats so he knows where to ge them even though its not a xr50 place. Ill probaly just do that.

But still tell me if you know of any place that has them.
i think crower is making some crazy mods to the stock head, but i dont know anything but the intake is HUGE!!
Does any one know the overall length, valve size, and stem diameter of the stock valves? My dad is really geting onto trying to biuld a mean stock head motor. Has anyone ever put titanium valves in a 50 head? My dad said we could get some made, it would make the thing rev real fast.

Why don't you take your head apart and measure the valves?

Out of curiosity, why do you want to build or modify a stock head when there is a ton of other heads that will outperform your stocker even with extensive mods?

I, for one, hope your project turns out great, but I'd modify a race head for max power, instead of trying to polish a turd.
maybe he doesnt wanna spend that much money,

or maybe he has an 88 and wants to ride in the 88 stock head class instead of moving up to hte 88cc with aftermarket head class

I will measure them i was just worndering if any one knew. The reason im biulding up the stock one is, my dad can do all the porting and installing the bigger valves so labor is free for me. So it wont be anywhere near the same amout of money has a aftermarket head. Plus my dad is really into making a mean running 50 that his actually his own work.

And like metalmulisharc15 said, i want to start racing and if i have mean stock head motor i will have the power advantage over alot the other stock heads out there.
or maybe he just can't afford buying a aftermarket head

I completely understand about the 88cc stock head class, but with the trail bikes parts, you can get a head that has pretty decent porting with the bigger valves for chump change compared to trying to locate and find and fabricate titanium race parts.

Please keep us posted, as I'd be interested to see how the project turns out.

Don't let me discourage anyone on developing new products, as if you can find and fabricate custom titanium race parts, people will want those duplicated and will be willing to pay for them...

I already know where i can get them made. 8) My dad gets them made for motors all the time.
It sounds to me you have a good business opportunity on your hands.

Be sure to get the valve keepers made of titanium also, as every little bit helps.
Titanium Valves, yummy, lol, make some for a TrailBikes head to, id get some.
I would definetly buy some Ti valves if the price was right. Go for it man, if your dads a professional see if he will make a few sets and let us know what size to have our local machine shops machine out our heads for and we can install your Ti valves.
I may considered selling these after i have a lil fun smoking everyone   I dont know if we will sell them or not, but if my dad says yes to it then we will be.

YellowToes, my dad doesnt make the valves but he is a professional engine biulder so he knows what hes talkin about. These litle 50 motors are nothing for him. Ill keep your guys posted about these valves.

You guys never know you might be hearing the words MDG performance (my dads company) in the 50 world very soon.
