Nope it won't. I powdercoated a head and cylinder and rode it for 6 months before I sold the bike. Never had a problem, except it's a bitch to keep clean.

Kitaco 88 kit w/polished and ported head, 20mm carb. Oh and High flow oil pump too. :D
