Well I just unpacked my forks and ripped the bike apart. I was sliding the head stem of my new forks into the frame and started to tighten the head nut down .. and low and behold... I have some free play. It seems the lil bearing plate does not have enough room to sit down on the bearings... sorta like the head stem is just a bit to big. So I called BBR and ......I was right. It seems they have a few fork sets that were not machined to spec. And of course I got one... gotta send them back now. Just a shout out ot you guys in case you have the same problem... :?

If your talking about the Bearing Race, then you need to bust out the good ole' hammer and punch and start whackin, i had the same problem. Nothing a good old beating cant do.

When you have the fork in the Head of the frame, you put the bearing over the threaded peice on the forks (not sure of correct name) then over the bearing goes the Bearing Race.
