What mm is the bbr? What cc will a 64mm piston give? Getting a stroker crank too... Will I def have to notch it for the yx head?

Dood, what do you think?

Firepower, could you give me a quote for the kit? May order from you as the exchange rate isn't bad at the moment.

Thanks for the replys.

bore x bore x stroke x .7854 will give you your cc's.

Most BIG pistons are already notched for a big valve head such as the YX or V2, etc, etc but just like anything, you'll have to check for clearances.

That BBR piston won't clear any race head, or even a YX, at least without being way in the hole. It's 63mm and can be notched, but isn't a real high-end piece. If you have a steel sleeve, 69mm spigot, bore it for a decent piston, and add any head you fancy.

I sent a bbr tech and email not to long ago after my bike blew up and this is what he recommended. I didn't want a race motor just a durable motor. Hope this helps

For durability, I would put an OEM crank and new oil pump in your bottom end. While you've got it apart, bore the cases for our 160 bore kit. It is pretty cheap and makes great power. This is the bore kit we're winning races with. For the head, you'll have to decide if you want keep the YX head or not. Personally, I'd go with the Kamikaze big valve head. It makes good horsepower and is dead reliable. Also, make sure you have a good output shaft and gear when you have the transmission apart. You probably already have a 4 speed shift drum.
