I have an EM in to Mid South Minimoto about these bikes. It looks like there'd be room to bracket in an XR100 motor too?? That would be one SUPER cool bike!! --L*64

If I do get one or two, they'll likely be the last mini GP bikes I ever buy due to the cost!! Hahaha! I may get just one, and keep an NSR50 as a practice thrasher and track day bike. --L*64

Got an EM from Stoney at Mid South Minimoto..... and.... well..... THEY ARE AWESOME BIKES, AND THEY CAN MOST DEFINITELY GET THEM HERE!!!! Lot of configurations, and they are built to order, so pricing depends on what you want. I want to run it in mu local F3 races, so I'd want the bigger 80cc chassis if it's possible, with the smaller wheels, and the 50cc motor that came in say... the GPR50. I had that motor in the Metrakit that I used as a practice bike. I rode the hell out of it for three seasons before I decided to put a piston and rings in it, and when I took it apart-- it was still like new!! I almost just re-ringed it and put it back in, but since I had it apart I just said the hell with it. Oz told me that those stock motors would easily go 10-12K miles in the street bikes before they started to smoke! I LOVED my Metras, and this is like a much nicer version!! God only knows how much it will cost, but I'm planning to sell off the bikes I have here to get it.

Not selling the NSF100 I've been working on, I'll keep that for a track day ride and a practice thrasher. I WILL sell my other never ridden NSF, both NSR50's, and one of my KLX110's though! I'll post up after I talk to Stoney again. --L*64

A few years ago we had a club at the Track XMRPros ..they specialize in Chinese mid bikes ,building modifying mid bikes/super pocket bikes.. The two owners of the club that also had a store had a few really fast bikes.. One of them was a derby GP bike and that thing was a beast nothing could catch it,on the other was a modified metrikit , those two bikes were amazing.. At that time I was racing pocket bikes and they sure would give me a hard time trying to beat them with a 50cc GRC pocket bike..

I almost purchased a metra kit but they always seem to slip through my hands back then.

Last season at NJMINIGP One of the junior racers I believe he's using a metric a frame with a XR100'Honda engine, that's been bored out to 125... It sounds amazing and it's the fastest bike on the track raced by Junior followed up with a very fast metra kit..
Unfortunately at our last rays fan to Junior racers we're going to be that 125 going against the metrakit but the metric it started blowing oil from somewhere so the bike was out..

Right now one of the most coming up bikes at our track is the KAYO 125 ..
I haven't rode one of those yet but they seem hard to catch and I can't catch it on my NSR50..
The closest I can get to them is on one of my 88s

I had two awesome MK's myself. They were light and fast, but had a bit of jankyness to them. Stoney told me that the RMU's are absolutely first class, and they're built alot better than the MK's were. For me the issue is the $10K+ price tag. I imagine I WILL get one, but I have two NSR50's, and an awesome NSF100 project I'm working on. I was thinking about selling the NSR50's, and my new "collector" NSF- (I have two of those too) to get the RMU. Problem is that the NSR50's are only worth $1500 each if I'm lucky, and the bikes are so much fun to ride-- I can't justify selling them for that cheap! I'd almost rather keep them and get the RMU in a year or so. --L*64

Damn that's a hefty price tag ..
I still haven't sold my NSR50 it's still fun to ride/race ..I have thought about selling it since I don't race it as much as my other bikes ..I get to the point of it being possibly for sale then I just can't see letting it go for $1500 or less ..for that I'd rather keep it as s spare race bike ..
...someone asked me if I was selling last year and I caved ..I had just rode the bike and could not let it go..
Truthfully I have way to many bikes -plus the lil pocketbikes ..
What I really need is to downsize and just race 2 crf100s ,one set up for stock class that I have and but another for F1/F2 classes .
I'd have to still find a such a bike .,

I just saw that you must be racing with NJMGP-- great club. I sold my "practice/track day" MK to Anthony Mazz a long time ago. I was racing alot with OMRL, but I've been kinda away from mini GP for awhile, and have been mostly riding and racing my play bikes in the pit bike races. I've missed OMRL and the fun I had racing with them, so I want to get back there.

I have alotta bikes myself. Just mini GP related-- I have two NSR50's, and two NSF100's. One of each I'm holding on to as collectors, so as far as riders go-- I'll be down to an NSR50 as a track day/practice thrasher/backup bike, and you may have seen the NSF project in this forum. I've had extensive fab work done to the stock NSF frame to clean it up, and so it will accept an RS125 tail section like it belongs there. I'm going to ride these bikes awhile, but I WILL have to get one of those RMU's. Maybe even the bigger 80cc bike to race in WERA mini. WERA doesn't have any age restrictions for the mini bike race. Prolly get one for my 50th B-day!

Here's a coupla pics of the NSF project. The frame is done, just have to get it painted, and get the rest of the project done. I'll get to it when I get done with my CRF150/230F project. I don't really want to sell my NSR's for $1500 either. Those bikes were $3599 new, and they're really cool and fun bikes to ride. I COULD do an XR100 like everyone else, but I ride dirt bikes in the dirt every week, I like mini GP because it satisfies my road racing cravings, and I like to ride a mini GP type of bike. --L*64

Yes our first opening date is next Friday thru Sunday the 3rd .its a NJMINIGP three day camp ...ons of my 88s belonged to Mazz

Yes lil Maz is one of the fastest kids in the club he also races big bikes .
The clubs been working with tracks all over the country now MINIGP in several states

I saw an RMU in action on the track at Apex kart track in Perris California 2 or 3 weekends ago. Rider was Rocco landers, son of Stoney. Rocco is an amazing rider ( I believe he is 11-12?) That little bike whooped everyones ass in the NSR race and in the XR100 race I believe.
I tis a beautiful bike also!
