Hi everyone, i'm sure you're sick of hearing this but ... I need some advice on what pit bike to buy.

It would be to just tool around on in lots and the neighborhood. I want to learn to stunt it. (not stunting at high speed as I have learned my lesson by getting fucted up on a sportbike lol)

So I guess the stuff that's important that I would want on it or to add eventually are:

Street tires

Bars

Manual clutch

Handbrake

Easily replaceable parts

high seat

enough power to do donuts (is this possible?)

I see everyone saying CRF50 but it looks like after you add everything to make it into a beast it's just as expensive as other brands. And other brands look to be all race oriented. Does that translate into a good stunter? And way does the crf always look shorter than all other pits?

So basically what model bike to go after if these are the things that important to me?

Thrifty price, Stuntworthy, reliable, power, Easily found replacement parts

great choice!!!
Oh, it's two stroke? I was thinking probably 4 stroke. Aren't 2 strokes much louder? +no engine braking.
How would a Pitster pro x2 be for stunting? Would I be able to find a handbrake for it and pegs?
Maybe the pitster jr 90 would work better. Its more oldschool frame style(honda 50) so i think you would find more parts that would adapt.
I have a xr 50 and its bad ass i love it I recomend any xr or crf50 from 2000 and up. And as far as all your add ons I get all my stuff from 50stunt.com
You cant beat the xr/crf for stunt. My bike is completelly modded for jumping and I can still stunt it. You can do burnouts on a stocker but WHY!! No need to throw a ton of money in it right away. Add parts as you progress. After a while you almost never will use the HB. I can do spreaders and HC 's with no HB. I wouldn't get a clutch if I were you. Get bars first and then a HB and pegs. Street tires are overrated! I rock cheap a$$ ching changs and can do circles just as good as my friends with stunt 50's. Get a Honda there are a ton of used parts for sale.
Just get a slightly used xr/crf 50. They are the best for everything since you can buy so many aftermarket parts.

I should just use dirt tires on my gixxer too! Tires are the cheapest thing you can do! Do them first.

Get the HONDA and be done with it. I'm not a stunter but if I did I would get the CRF50 and never look back. It's the perfect bike for what you want! I've had more fun rolling out wheelies on BONE stock CRF50's then anything else I've ever rode!

I have more fun on my crf 50 than any other bike ive ever owned....stock motor is the way to go. Get a honda 50 they are bullet proof.
you can stunt anything, a stock HONDA XR50 is the best mini to go with, followed by the crf70 or klx/drx 110, say no to china! haha

Thank the good lord! LOL! I'm glad to see there is still some people on here that knows what a quality bike is!

Yeah anyone can break a stock 50. But once you replace some parts with good after market stuff it's bullet proof. (but the motor is bullet proof stock of course) especially for street riding.

The same can't be said for the chinese knock offs .....

If you can manage to really actually break something while stunting (street) a real Honda 50, there is something wrong with you, lol. My old 50 had been dropped in so many stoppies, 2nd gear loop outs, NewbTuber wipe outs, its not even funny, and nothing really ever happened to it.
Thanks guys!

I'm sold, CRF 50 it is! lol

Bent foot peg mounts broke a brake lever...that's all I've ever broke on mine.
