FULL SUSPENSION A+ ATC 70 true survivor, to restore or not to?
I recently picked up a REALLY nice unrestored ATC 70 Accessories + 1985 donor 3 wheeler.
My question is,, Should I keep this bike as is? (original decals, number plates on fenders etc etc.
OR redo it to original race state?
This was built for a kid to race with just about everything that could be done to this vintage bike for racing.
Still has the original tires (good tread but minor weather check)
I installed a shock off an 82 ATC250R which improved the rear a bunch but would have to mod the fork internals for something much stiffer if i refurb.
I would still, even if i refurb it, wish to keep it looking as it did when new.
THE BIG problem is, while i am a very experienced mechanic, i have never restored anything and have ALOT of questions, so if you're knowledgeable on restore or think i should keep it as is, please don't hesitate to speak up! Thanks for your help in advance.
