Sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but Im new to the forum and was unable to find any historic posts. I’m Looking to upgrade the forks on my XR80 to nicer, stronger, and possibly taller forks. I know that xr100 forks will swap in but I don’t know what years will work and if there are ones I should be focusing my attention toward. Additionally any opinions as to rear shock/spring replacement would be greatly appreciated! The bike is being built for recreational riding and putting around the hills of WV! Thanks in advance!

I put 2003 xr100 forks on my 1983 xr80, the back shocks are off of old 125, not sure of the model, but I had to press out the grommet from stock 80 shock into these shocks
