they are both relitively cheap as far as bore kits go you can get some nice set ups out there for under 300 bucks with no carb and i was wondering which setup do you guys prefer. i love the stock 49cc motor but want just some more ummmmffff when i hit the throttle you know what do you guys feel about both these kits and how much better is one then the other in general opinion.

hows the 81 e-stage kit? i thinking that or the 75 for me
If you dont race or dont plan on racing definitely go with the 75cc kit. But if you race definitly get the 88 kit or you will be gettin smoked unless you're really light. I know where you can get an 88 kit with carb and cam for cheap so email me if you want to go that route.
I got a 75 kit. Works as good as you will ever need for messin around. Gets you up the hills and gives you that extra UMMPHHH
I've got a 75cc kit , with 20mm carb ,takegawa 88cc kit cam, and cdi box my buddy has a 88cc kit from 2 bros (the expenseive one)and my bike is way easier to ride fast so I can always out run him.

i have an 88 kit with stock carb and aftermarket cam, i love it, just go with that way more power than a 75 for cheap. you wont be dissapointed!!!
yeah if ya can afford the 88 dont waste your time on the 75 I plan on upgrading when I can afford to
I have the Takegawa 88cc S-Stage Combo Kit with the 18mm carb and cam etc.. It's worth the money! I'm running a 15 tooth sprocket on the front and the stock sprocket in the rear. I say go with the 88cc kit. :D
wHY NOTTHE 81CC KIT. I've heard (now don't hold me to any of this) that the 88's tend to run hot and and with suck high rpm you'll have to get 300% oil pump and an oil cooler. Or the motor will @$$ out on you.

the 88 cylinders are actually lighter because they are aluminum and they stay cooler because they are aluminum, you cant beat that aluminum cylinder...........
Is it mandatory to have an oil pupm with an 88 kit?? :?:
I think i read in another post that the oil pump is not a must unless your going bigger than 88cc's. :?:

how much is an oil pump (300%)??
the best place (in my opinion) to get good upgrades for cheap is dratv.com

they have a godd 88cc with aluminum cylinder for under $200!!!

im not so sure about the quality but from other forums, people have said they work just as well as all the other name brands. I think (not fully sure) but they are from a place called dragon race parts???

great stuff!!!

for xmas im gettin a 95cc aluminum cylinder for under $200!!! Great prices!! Be sure to check it out!!!

they have lots of other mods too!!!!!!!!!(including oil pumps)

Yes Dratv does sell Dragon Racing parts and there service is super. Had to order some stuff for a '72 z50 the other day and it was here in like 2days. I plan on a 88cc kit with cam along with their manual clutch kit.
ya they got some sweet prices, but hows there quailty? and the way they say everything on there site and there prices it give me the impression that they just stole a bunch of stuff and r sellign it for cheap. no refunds at all, no help on the install if u need it?
plus i don;t think there 85 or 95 cylinders come with pistons/gaskets/rings...etc, i think u hav to buy it separate
they are just sayin that you better know what exactly to get(like the right item for ur bike) and how to put it on and stuff because they waste alot of time with people on that stuff explaining how to do everything and what exactly they need and it just take up too much of their time. thats all
I would recommend www.hondatrailbikes.com for a great quality 88cc BB Kit and 20mm carb.

DRP parts are made in China, TB's kits are made in Taiwan and are better quality.
