hows a kitaco 75 w/ 17mm carb vs tb88 with carb/cam? im having the same dilemma as usual, now i need to find out if the TB88 has linear power or not? how controlable is it? reason being im not stuck to only racing or only fmx, so its kinda tough to decide which is the better kit.. i need linear power no doubt, cant have sketchy 2 stroke power while trickin and all the fun stuff..

Dude, go for the 88. If you get the 75 you will be disapointed with the power. I can see you ride big bikes from your signature so you really shoulnt be scared of the power on such a little bike. I had the exact same kit you are looking to get and the power is very smoothe, as long as you dont gear it to low. If you got the 75 you would be looking for more power in about 2 weeks, gaurenteed, just go with the 88, and thats probably what everyone else is going to tell you as well.

TB 88 hands down, the power is smooth. I rode Jeesters bike and the power is there and its not sketchy at all.

If your looking for a happy medium..

I rode a 108 & a takegawa 82 kit back to back and the 82 was really nice. Especially for the price difference between the two....

I'm still goin with the tb88 kit when i get the cash though.. Its cheaper than the takegawa 82... Even with a pump and clutch springs included... Listen to Jester, he knows tb kits, i've seen him rip off the knowledge in lotsa posts...

Wow Chris Skinner has it? Big deal, you have the 75 kit but Im sure you can't go as big as Skinner. 8O So what makes the difference, nothing. Thats like saying cause I have a CR250 I can go just as fast as RC. Get the TB 88 kit you'll be much more happy than any 75 kit will make you.

wow, i wake up and find 2000 replies haha... well if i were only racing id go TB88 carb/cam, only FMXing 75 w/ carb... im wondering if the TB88 with carb only would be a good compromise..?

Dude, just get the kit with cam and quit killing yourself with decisions. You are way over complicating it. Its not like the motor is going to be insane fast or anything lol, itll just have alot more SMOOTHER power.
