I have one and I love it. It made my spur of the moment, uninformed inner rotor purchase fit on my engine. I also found mine on the bay. Shipping was killer, but it saved me buying another ignition setup.

Keep in mind these work on 1979 and older 6v cranks to convert the modern 12v ignition systems. They don't work on the 1980-1987 6v cranks.
There are short and long adapters from 6V to 12V cones.

(a guy here in holland has made series of both types, all sold out.)

Thanks, guys. Sounds like my Daytona setup will end up on the old XR75, at last:)
Wait..so you're putting in a new 12v motor into a 6v bike? Why would you need the adapter then? I thought it's only needed if you're trying to convert a stock 6v motor to 12v ignition/lighting?

Honda ss50(6V) with adapter and lifan 150 ignition:

It's not mine. It is an example of a lifan outer rotor in a 6V ignitioncover(on a 6V engine). With a thin ring under the outer cover the lifan flywheel can be covered completely.

(The really nice ss50 tanks are getting scarce overhere, and expensive.)

I like the Bosch coil, and the mesh chainguard. Some farm-shop action going on there, Euro-style. I notice that guy's gone to intake manifold studs and nyloc nuts, holding the intake on.
