Hello and thanks for adding me to your group!

I have a stock 2005 Honda CRF50F that I recently bought used. It was neglected and I have been going through it. I am trying to figure out the fuel line from the tank to the carb. The tank petcock faces to the rear and the outlet diameter looks to be 5/16". The carb inlet faces to the front and looks to be 1/4". I have a new stock fuel hose and the clamps that go on the ends. The hose looks to be about 1/4" I.D. I have looked through the parts fiche and do not see anything between the tank and carb along the fuel line run. The cut piece of hose that was on it when I picked up the bike was really stretched out to get over the petcock outlet and the fiche shows the same clamp is used on the carb inlet as is used on the tank outlet, but this clamp really has to stretch out to fit over the stretched out hose on the petcock outlet . Does anyone have any info or pictures they could post to help me figure out what is going on here?

That's the correct OEM fuel line, but looks like someone probably swapped that petcock out for a Chinese copy that has a bigger barb on the outlet. The petcock looks abnormally clean. Just go with whatever hose fits both, and use hose clamps (worm clamps) to tighten it down instead of those flimsy oem fuel line clamps.

Spray a little contact cleaner on the petcock barb and in the end of the fuel line to slide it into place a little easier.

I ordered a new tap yesterday. The outlet fitting of the one on the bike has a diameter of almost 3/8".
