I was wondering if you can put it on the 87 foot brake onand how to put the 87trx70 foot brake on the 86

Yes it could be made to work if you have all the parts. They are basically the same bike.

Major issue....The 1987 foot brake is mounted on the Kickstarter shaft. (see pic). I think the 1986 has a cover over the shaft which could create a major issue because the shaft doesn't protrude past the cover. Engine has to be taken apart.
