This is my first dirt bike I ever had. It quit running in the early 2000s and has been in a box in my dads shop ever since. I dug it out about a month ago and was just gonna fix the motor and put it back together. Well ended up stripping it all down and painting. Went thru the whole motor. Bottom was good except a missing tooth on the main drive gear. Top end was destroyed. Cylinder was fix able. Valves were bent and the head valve seats were gonna need to be recut. Anyone try the China whole top end for a 100 bucks? I’m gonna give it a try. Here are some pictures. I didn’t take a bunch of pictures so far but here is a few I got. Also thanks for the help from the couple forum posts I made

the china top end kit is for long-rod engines and they work for 1982 and up engines. use of a china top end kit will result in very low and will have NO power.
