It is hard to under stand what you are talking about, but I dont think it would be safe either way..
I'm talking about the small end of the rod. wether or not anyone has drilled it out 1mm to accept a 14mm wristpin/ piston pin
You can do it and it would be safe, but you'd need to have it bored out in 2 stages with machining tools.

I don't understand why you'd want to do this though, since there are way more options for 13mm pistons than there are for 14mm pistons.

What are you looking for...perhaps I can help you find it.
If you are trying to put that on the engine I sold you the bolt pattern won't be the same. If you have another engine, you can purchase the exact same kit with the same piston only in 13mm already.

http://www.hondatrailbikes.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=56&products_id=841 This is a 56mm bore but I do remember that someone said they had them in 57mm now too.
so this will fit regardless if the stroke on my motor is 55.5? i guess it would since the cylinder height is the same right? the only thing changing would be the bore size. but i'm wondering if the piston to deck height would be level.
I think the answer will be yes. The decks are the same. But you have to make sure the cylinder bolt patterns are the same too.
the 57mm tb kits are only available with a 14mm pin

So are there any bore kits for the motor you sold me? or should i just run a high compression piston and leave the stock bore alone?

I think i'll just do that with the TB411 cam and a bigger carb.

There are bore kits available, but you need one from a Honda Nice. Again, that engine I sold you has unbelievable tuning capability if you know what you are doing.

What you need to do is get the new TB race head or a ct70 head, match up a 56mm piston (depending on the head) and get a Honda Nice cylinder to match. Cams and carbs are assumed.

Or, perhaps you are interested in trading me back? I have a 114cc engine here that will toast that one built from mostly honda parts. It is a 3 speed manual clutch.
that offer is enticing but I would like to keep the 4spd tranny.

What are the benefits of converting to the tbrace or ct70 head from the one thats on there now? arent they all 25/22 valves?
The valves in your stock engine i believe are 23/20 and is similiar in nature to the GPX head.

We can swap in a four speed tranny, but I don't have one to offer.
in your for sale post you said it was a 24/21...

anyways, i might just get a cam for it first then decide from there.
well, I stand corrected...they are probably 24/21 then. At least get a H/c piston and carb while you are at it...it will make a world of difference. While you are at it, you can port it out a bit.

You know you can also bore it out and put a bigger piston in it. However, I am going to discourage you from doing that. Wait until the current piston and cylinder are shot and then bore it out to 54mm.

If you want, I can give you a link to get the nice cylinder you need if you want to bolt on a big bore. www.daxdodo.com. I just bought something from them and it was top notch.
yeah i'm gonna go with the trailbikes 411 cam, CHP 52.4 hi-comp piston, and not too sure which carb to go with.
go with a vm26. buy it on ebay for $80 and get the boot and intake seperately and save $35
