I Have an Xtreme, but anyone(including me) will tell you the Xtreme is like a tank, it weighs alot more than than an XR/CRF but as far as power goes, the Xtreme puts out around 5-6hp with a UNi filter.

( as far as problems go, with "my" Xtreme i haven't had a bad problem yet, except the filling of the oil, must be percise )

Xtreme motor, then throw a Kitaco SE head on it with a Moto-Xtreme 54mm crank and have a 115 SE. everyone thinks Xtreme motors are sh**ty because of the trannys. but that can easily be fixed by grinding the shift star.

no no...no!...that would be freakin expensive...worth it buyt how does that change the "sh**ty" tranny...i have an xtreme and i can tell you first hand it is all about how you ride....my tranny is like brand spanking new and i ride alot, no false neutral or any of that crap..

when you said grinding down the shift star i immediatly knew that you were talking about the SDG which in its case is true...just ask stanton.

if you want the truth the s-stage can stay with the 110 but its all the rider.

i was racing one weekend and there was there 2 kids my age so i went and talk to them one had an extreme w/12in wheels and the other r-stage with oil cooler. long story short i beat both of them by 3 places

and to show you the rider makes the diff there are two guy that live by my track and they only do freestyle and then they showed up to race one weekend that the both have s-stages and the ride with bmx helmets and they both got in front of me (but they were ex bmx racers/jumpers)

show so the choice is your, yes more power is better only if you can use the power
