I was thinking about ordering a new bottom from an 07 thats for sale. Wil the rest of the parts from my 04 fit? Are the engines identical?

Sorry I am not sure, but if you call a dealer they can probably tell you.

Just call kawasaki and ask to talk to a mechanic.

I would think it would work cause kawas are pretty universal but cant say for sure.

06 and up are better engines. Different mounting on the stator/pickup coil. Jug will fit fine. 06 and up have better digital ignition.
