Id say jets pipe and open the air box up so it can breath...

Just bought an 04 crf150, i know there is a few things you can do to get a little more power out of them...

THis was my old 04 150f... I used a pod filter...Waaay different than stock.

clear your pm box. is the bike still for sale?
That airbox mod you mentioned "snorkle thingy" is quite an improvement from stock (easier to turn on and a bit more top end) but is a waste and a piece of junk compared to a Uni or K&N pod filter. These things actually allow them to brethe freely.

The Power up jet kit will help with performance as these bikes come from the factory pretty lean.
