| Re: New Engine for the 50, Gpx 125, or TB Rhead 88 He was making a not so true statement when it comes to pitbikes, I was merely asking a question to disprove his statement. The TB88 R/H kits are great for the cash and you get to maintain the reliability of a Honda motor. |

| Re: New Engine for the 50, Gpx 125, or TB Rhead 88 My take on it is this: If you plan on keeping it a long time, then build up your Honda motor. You will always be able to buy a part for it if it breaks (which it most likely wont) You can easily get TB replacement parts also. The China motors arent too bad, but once they break good luck getting service/replacement parts. But they are cheap enough so you can just drop it in the trash and buy another "Disposeamotor".

| Re: New Engine for the 50, Gpx 125, or TB Rhead 88 I have both.. 88cc tb race head and gpx 125cc It really depends on what your looking to do with it. If you need the 4th gear then go with gpx, you can get it for your crf50 as well but it costs half price of the gpx motor. Like everyone has mentioned, getting parts for your honda is easy, but getting parts for china stuff is not that hard either. Both are easy to locate parts. At the end gpx will give you what your looking for much less. Its just not as durable as honda, but gpx is no slouch.. I keep up with my buddies 125cc motors with my tb 88, I will even pull on them in 2nd and 3rd gear up top untill they shift into 4th.. I am +1 in front sprocket. |
