| Looking for Advice! I want to know if this is possible. I would like to swap out the 110 cc china motor in my midbike with a 88cc honda motor. The race class for our organization maxes at 100cc. So I would like to be legal in the class. I also think the 88cc honda is more reliable than the 110cc china motor. What is the overall performance difference? I am thinking the 88cc will totally out perform the stock china 110cc Should be a direct bolt in right? |

| Re: Looking for Advice! Might as well go with a 95cc kit, or an 81 with a stroker, to crowd the 100cc limit. Gotta split the cases anyway, unless you plan to run the pathetic ratio stock trans. |

| Re: Looking for Advice! I would like to keep it simple and rather inexpensive. Not looking for headaches. In addition the bike is ridden in the races by my 10 year old son. |

| Re: Looking for Advice! an 88 kit should rip just fine i took a 70 top end and bolted it on to my fiddy runs like an ape but a stroker engine i like that one too.but for simplicity the 88 should work just fine. atc 70 and 90 heads are the same with the bigger valves, but old skool cam.trx 90 head for new cam style. what ever you do put the 70 or up head on it you will like it alot more. | Re: Looking for Advice! Bandit, The 88 will rip. That will be more than enough power for your 10year old son. I've seen him on the track. I think he can handle it. not as torquey as a 110 but revs alot higher. I think the power band will be easy for him so he wouldnt have to shift so much. Too bad I sold my e22 head. Definitely find you an e22 head and at least a g2 cam. do at least an HD auto clutch too. dont forget the hv oil pump as well.. haha its never cheap to modify |
